starting problems

no check engine light. yeah phin, cranks over, just won't start.

to finally get it started, i have to push start it. which is getting old real quick.



but after i push start it once, it will crank the rest of the day.

Damn that really sounds like my 89 when the injectors were leaking, but I am not sure if the symptoms are the same on the 93+??? anyone?

well, it wouldn't start again this morning. tried the unflooding procedure, then said **** it and drove my roomate's car to class.

thats odd, if you push start and it works fine then the ignition /fuel system sounds like it is working fine.

Are you sure ther starter is actually engaing the flywheel? If the bendix gear is shot, the starter motor itself will spin and you will hear it, but the gear does'nt come out to engage the flywheel. Nex time it happens, have someone standing looking at your engine, see if all the belts on the engine move while cranking...

talked to dave at KD today............. he thinks it is low compression. that made my day gonna do a compression test this weekend.



damn i am glad that i bought a s13 last week.
