Any idea how many SpiritRs have made it to the US?

(Seems there are only about 3, here in the UK!)

What, none at all?

Not even "personal" imports, rather than "official" Mazda??

It's illegal to import for street use here. Importing for any other use just isn't worth it.

Cheers! Didn't realise! So all the 7's over there (or over here, when you read it!! ) were sold as US cars, and not Jap ones bought over? Hmmm....an advantage of living in the UK! Mind you, our import laws have changed now, so we can't import anything newer than 96 onwards, unless it is supported with some very expensive documentation. For that reason, some great cars are said to be impossible to get hold of now (unless they're 96 or older), 'cos no-one is willing to pay big money to get the reports written, for the sake of importing a handful of cars. Mind you, that helps me, 'cos mine is a 2002 model!

Reckon this could go on for a while!

i) You're either Scott who bought my old Silver RX and have just painted it white. OR

ii) You've nicked my RX from the garage.......I haven't been in there for a few days.....(joking, mate, not really suggesting you have !!). OR

iii) You've got me confused with Andrew from Jimmys!

I reckon number iii would be a good bet........
