It's illegal to import for street use here. Importing for any other use just isn't worth it.

Hmmm....an advantage of living in the UK! Mind you, our import laws have changed now, so we can't import anything newer than 96 onwards, unless it is supported with some very expensive documentation. For that reason, some great cars are said to be impossible to get hold of now (unless they're 96 or older), 'cos no-one is willing to pay big money to get the reports written, for the sake of importing a handful of cars.
