My speedometer always reads high. Like if i'm going sixty it will read around 90, or if i'm goin 30 it will read 60 or 70...anyone have a clue why this would happen, or even better, how to fix it? i've been using my turbo timer that has a speedometer on it to read my speed, but i really want my actual speedometer to work

thanks

what kinda turbo timer is this? can it be that its working the other way around? maybe the speedometer is wrong and you're gunna get pulled over for goin 120 on a 60 zone

The speedometer def is wrong, it reads like 60 when i'm following cars in a 30mph zone....the turbo timer reads correctly, or at least it reads a speed that is more reasonable...like it will read 70 on the highway instead of 135...its connected to the ECU if that helps any, not sure if it calculates the speed based on rpm measurements or what.

is the ECU set to display your gauges in Kilometers? and that is what you SPDO is hooked to? Just a guess though. What ecu are using?

Take it up to a predetermined speed and see if the spdo reads an equivilent Kilo speed

Well, i finally fixed my speedometer. I had an ac fuse that was in an empty fuse slot, so i put it in the ac slot and, well my ac didn't start working haha, but my speedometer now reads correctly all the time. For some reason my gas gauge doesn't read a full tank when i have a full tank...i just noticed this when i filled the tank today, any ideas? I did put in a new fuel filter a few weeks back, maybe a bad install?
