I just noticed a few hoses on my engine 0that has been sitting here for a while) that have kinks in them. I put silicone hoses on in April (?) they are pretty much new. No problems when I put 'em on they were just a bit long...they just got a little weak.

I didnt have any issues with boost or turbo controll but it looks like I was headed that way!

 

the first pic doesn't look too bad, allthough i see the 'kink' that you'd be worried about. the second pic is obvious.



for future hose-jobbers=do a thorough check-over of the hoses after you have them on to solve future problems because of a kinked hose. that second pic might cause a problem with your stock sequential boost response, might be why your car was slo dano? when did you do your hoses anyway, before or after the roadtrip?

 

before the roadtrip...and it was a slipping clutch smartass (referring to Jimmy who blew up his car on the Dyno that very trip AND was SLOWER than yours truely )

 

still ran a 13.2 chicken focker
