Serious Question

Okay...this is for the Car Dealers or Fd mechanics. I was just watching the news here in houston and they did a story about computer being put in cars. And they were talking about this one little box that acts as a date holder for the last few minutes of your cars life. For example it tells you if you are wearing your seatbelt, if your breaks are working, or if you caused the accident. Then they said that they are in almost every car that has an Airbag. But they are secret to most car owners and only the dealers know the codes. I want to know if these are in the Fd's and what they can tell about the last few minutes of my wreck.
I am asking because I think it is wierd that the day of my accident the company didn't even want to give me half of what I paid for the car. Then a few days later they sent us a check for more then we paid. Little odd. But maybe they found out something. Maybe I am just paranoid after watching the segment. I dont know but any info is good info. Thanks Guys

I've never heard about it in older cars, but they want to put something like that in newer cars in the future. I doubt Mazda ever put one of those in our cars.
I don't like the whole idea. They can use it to track you and ****.
