Don’t get attached to the wrecked one

Just find one that is in even better condition and put all your old parts and goodies on the new chassis that is flawless.

And as weird as it would be for vosko to not have a black FD, maybe getting a new color would be a fun change.

if you still have the origional parts laying around somewhere...you could take the ones you replaced, and return that one to OEM spec (parts-wise) and then sell it. and then youll still have all those shiny parts. hey if it works for supras i dont see why not for RX-7s.

aren't responses #2 and #3 essentially the same? either way, you are buying back your car and getting a new one. you should take the parts off the old FD and put them on the new FD.

then part off whatever is left of the new FD.

go pewter or gunmetal grey. that was the first FD i ever saw (or maybe it was silver ), and i seriously thought it was the best looking car ever. this was when i was in 6th grade or so.

i said to my friends "i saw the coolest car. i looked like a miniature viper! yall have to see it!"

my other concern is i know its gonna be in the body shop for six months and the repairs are gonna be expensive so i don't even think i will be able to get a super duper aero kit! ah well we will see what insurance says. just weighing out my options. not having the car really sucks

Take the money, buy it back for $1000, and part it out. Buy a rolling chassis like ErnieT did and put the goodies on it from your wrecked car.
