Seperating the engine and the tranny???

I just about have this mother pulled out . But I can't seem to seperate the engine from the tranny. I am not exactly sure why the Wedge collar and wire ring will not seperate. Any suggestions??? Quick response please!!!

I got all the bolts out. The input shaft won't release. Is there some trick that I am missing to release the clutch release bearing???

Pull type clutches, you gotta love them. Look into the top view plate and start undoing the bolts that attach the clutch to the flywheel. That's the only way I could do it with a stock clutch. I "think" if you can get a prybar inside, you may be able to undo the lock collar(whatever that thing is called).

The throw out bearing shouldn't be stuck to anything. It stays on the tranny side. Put the car in gear and rock it a little, do you have a gap of some sort between the engine and the tranny?

Can you get a pry bar or long screw driver in there?
