Separating Tranny /engine

Aight... I can't get it. I've done everything everyone told me to do... But the goddamnsummunabitch still sticks. Anybody got pics to show me? I looked at the manual.. Course it's a scanned to .pdf one... so I dunno what the hell I'm lookin at... Please help. You guys are the only reason I got this far.
Once I do it once... It's like eating *****... You just get better at it.. But I gotta get thru the first time before I can master it.. If you know what I mean! THANKS

Yeah it is a pain in the ***. I would agree with the clutch fork. The first time I coudln't get it off was because I forgot about the top bolt Second time was the release fork. And it could also be sealed from wear. I did the same thing as Turbovr6 we got a screw driver and undid each screw one by one. It is a major pain in the *** but it worked in the end.

I don't think there's anything in there that can be broken or at least not unless you bash on it with a hammer or something... just take out your starter...stick your fingers in the starter hole and push the back of that fork until it pops off the wire ring that is holding it to the pressure plate or maybe even use a bar of somesort....that should work. It takes a little force to get that wire ring to pop off the throwout bearing. After that it's all gravy.
