Anyone else notice that the author of the article tried to say the 13brew is a 2.6l not 1.3? something like (don't have the mag with me) "1.3L engine (2.6 if you think forgotten word instead of convention)"? I'm thinking an email writing re-education campaign, since there's only 1.3L of displacement per output revolution. I just wish they'd had Shiv or Josh write the article, I didn't recognize the author of this one. :/

just thought it a little odd.

tons of people call it a 2.6L as to handicap it since it crushes all the piston engines, and cause everyone is so in love with the s2k and swears it's like 180hp in 1.8L package is best N/A hp/liter... when in fact the 250hp in 1.3L in the rx8 is the best N/A hp/liter.........but hey honda has to win so they call it a 2.6 to satisfy themselves there's also some bullshit math they use, i just stick by the 1.3L measurement, i figure mazda had some idea as to their own engines displacement.

that is a nice article. i like that most of the mags these days are putting rotary related articles in them. it is kinda like making our presence known even better.

you guys should check out the DRAG SPORT magazine. there is always a rotary section in it, and so far has been very comprehensive and accurate, not to mention great re-reading them...

it is a tall mag with newspaper like pages...

I just want to know more about that car in the front of that issue...the two-page "layout" with the blue FD w/ Apex'i front and sideskirts and Volk 6-spoke wheels in white, and a 99-spec rear spoiler (I think). Actually, it looked a hell of a lot like Project RX-7, but that one had a '99-spec bumper w/ license plate removed. Hmmm...maybe they've made changes I wasn't aware of. Either way...if anyone happens to have more pics of that car post 'em! Exchange the rear wing for a FEED rear wing and that's pretty much exactly what I want my car to look like (not that its close right now :-(
