I was not going to run a thermostat.

Is it just the oil pressure issue?
If you don't have one and you don't warm up the car properly and just ran it hard like that, the oil cooler is going to burst on you.

When oil is cold, it's a lot thicker and the oil pressure will be higher. My friend had the dual 34 row bursted one of his because he didn't listen to me to put a thermostat on it. Luckily he wasn't driving at the time when the oil cooer gave up or he would have got into a major accident.

Just listen to Chuck and put in a thermostat. If that bitch breaks open, you are almost guaranteed to wreck.

I could careless if I sell more oil cooler kit since I don't really make big money on it. I would be more worried about the saftey of you guys. I don't want to hear any people dying because of oil cooler bursting.

Even if you warm up your car properly, the oil temp will still drop down too low when you are just cruising on the freeway on a cold day. A thermostat is a must. Your life is worth a lot more than $200 I will suppose.
