RX7's can be as reliable as you want them to be.

i have never had any "abnormal" unreliablity issues.

every car has sensors fail, bad belts, a/c probelms, broken interior issues, and especially whence modded, internal engine and heat related issues.

to answer the question honestly, the rx7 was not the best designed car in some of its internal and engine and cooling related areas, but for the issues to be so easily overcome and the evergrowing popularity of the car to still gain accolades and respect of every sports car owner says alot about the FD rx7.....

get it, take car of it, and it will do you right....

Haha... they are no less reliable than any other car. Mod them, and they become a tad unreliable if you don't know what the **** you are doing... LIKE MANY FD OWNERS HAVE SO SADLY HAD TO LEARN.

i think all the reliability issues become less of a big deal as you read all the info you can get your hands on and you learn more and more. There's so much info describing how all those issues were addressed by owners before you.
