yeah, i think you are right about all the rebadges in the last post. as for a koyo being a generic fit i have to disagree. mine went in with no hassle what so ever. all i did was bend the little metal piece that it sits on(soft metal) then bent it back up. went in like a glove

For what its worth, companies everywhere, in all industries, rebadge stuff and sell it as their own. This is hardly uncommon, or even unethical. Of course, it pays to know so if you have access to the original, you can save some money.

I have the PWR, and without having any temps or anything, I like it. I'm in South Florida too, so I know it gets a workout every day. It looked nice...a lot nicer than the Mazdacomp I had previously (which mysteriously sprung a leak after only a year of use). The PWR was cheaper than every other FD radiator I looked at save the stock plastic POS. Mine fit fairly easily too...I've heard others with more trouble, but I think that goes for all the radiators. Some cars they fit perfectly, some they don't.

I was looking into getting a apex radiator because they are only 34,000 Yen. They really don't seem to be that much bigger than stock. If i remember right they are only 29mm wide, stock is 25mm. I really can't find any info in english about them, but it is an option.
save yourself the trouble and get the Koyo. It's fairly cheap, huge and shiny!

Don't order it from the "other" forum though...it took me EIGHT MONTHS to get.

Hey Guys, I'm planning on getting a new radiator soon & was wondering how many of have done this & kept the A/C. Is there a preference (KOYO/Fluidyne/PWR) for fitment with A/C in the mix?

Just curious.

I've heard that the mazdacomp is tough to fit with AC because of the shields attached to it. The KOYO fits without a problem with AC.
