Gee, how about the one the car comes with. It's FREE. Use it until it breaks THEN replace it with one of the expensive ones. I've got the stock rad and in south florida I've never had any overheating issues. Spend the money when you have to, not before.
This is the concept that I would follow...EXCEPT if your FD is a daily driver...don't want a leak to start when you aren't watching it all the time and then have an overheating problem that will be more expensive down the line...

I can afford to wait till mine breaks becuse I don't think there is a time when I am not monitoring everything under the hood for problems.

I had an interesting conversation with Peter Farrell today about radiators.

He told me a few stories about his experience with stock radiators.

I won't go into it too much, basically the moral of the story was this.

Your stock radiator is more than capable of cooling a high horse power Fd.

It's not an issue of the core being to small but a ducting issue.

If you duct the air to force it directly through the radiator that will greatly improve

cooling. You need to get all the little holes and gaps covered and plugged so that

all the air flow is bieng taken advantage of and not wasted.

I better stop now or Peter is gonna send me a bill

Thanks for the good advice Peter.

I for one will now save my money and stick with the stock unit.
