What is the bolt for on the HKS BOV. What does it adjust when you skrew it in and out?? where should I have it set at??

it adjusts how much pressure it takes for the valve to open, there is no specific setting. you can usually just leave it alone and it will work fine

OK sound good. I just wasn't sure if I was suppose to adjust it to a certain point. Thanks alot.

If you skrew it in it takes less preaseure and if you skrew it out i takes more preasure right???

i think it might be the reverse, but i really dont know. if you're really bored mark where its at and play with it

I think it is the other way, if you screw it in the spring gets tighter and needs more force to open

You are correct!



The HKS works the same as the Greddy TypeR(but I've owned both).



Screw it in makes it harder for the valve to open...letting it out makes it easier.



I normally screw mine in so that 1/2 inch of the bolt is sticking out.

thats about where i have it set now So I will leave it alone. It works fine anyway .
