Well I have 3 days to get it running. I just finished the engine about an hour ago. Not sure how it will run but I don't hear anything moving around in their and when I turn the flywheel I hear compression. Im guessing those are good signs!

I just like to think that each motor I built has a little bit of me in it. Blood and a bit of knuckle skin usually.

In That picture of the rotor covered in vasoline, would you remove the rubber bands after you let it sit for a while? or cut them afer the rotor was in the housing?

cut them after they are in the housing. That way all your apex seals will stay in place while the housing is put on.

I put the apex seals in after I put the rotors in.

I'll admit. It is a pain in the ***!! But that is only because I had less then a week to get it running and it is my first time! I have been working on it 12 hours straight a day for the past 4 days. If you spread it out over a long time it is not as bad.

Also it is a very educational experiance! I have learned so much by doing this and I understand alot more about my car. However all of this means nothing unless it runs! Tomorrow I will find out!!
