I'd like to move this to one of the technical forums, but I'm not sure which (I'm not familiar with the PFC). 1st gen, 3rd gen, or ECU discussion?

question is unclear but if youre askin if you need to swap out vac lines when installing the pfc.. answer is no

however.. its generally a good idea on a maintenance perspective to swap out the decade and a half old rubber vac lines...

of which.. at this point probably feels more like hard plastic

A little more thought into the post would have been helpful. But I'm with amp........the PFC is a standalone computer. You don't need any vacuum lines for it. But if your car is having issues and they haven't been changed yet, then spend the money there before a PFC. IMO, there'd be no point to installing a PFC on a car that's already running poorly.

Well i dont have any issues, just want to upgrade my factory ecu. I upgrade to a single turbo, bigger intercooler, bigger radiator, bigger injectors and fuel pump, eng street ported.some other little stuff.

You can get rid of every vacuum line except the following; fuel pressure regulator, map sensor, blow off valve, and wastegate. Do not plug your crankcase vents, you need a catch can for those( the two coming off the oil filler neck)
