so would it be worth my while getting that instructional video? the workshop manual looked pretty straight forward, hopefully i wont run into any problems(not pulling the engine till winter break, just wanted to research some before i do it).

i've never seen the video, and it will help watching it, but it's not necessary to pull your engine. just read over the manual a couple times to familiarize yourself with what you'll be taking off, the order you will be taking them off in, etc.

If its your first time, the easiest way is to label and zip lock each individual bolt and nut for each item. For example.....alt bolts tagged in a bag, starter bolts and nut tagged, transmissions bolts tagged, omp, engine mounts, ......you get the picture. It takes a bit more time to do in the beginning, but will speed you up for the re-installation two fold. Good luck. Oh, And remeber the clip for the clutch through the access.

I did this very thing last month when I pulled mine. Its really not as hard as it seems. Hardest thing for me was getting the downpipe off. Drain the oil and as much of the coolant before starting the poject. Also tag every bolt and dont lose anything!!!

If you pull the engine and transmission together do you have to remove the exhaust and ppf from the transmission and differential?
