was up quick question everyone, ive never pulled my engine but i am very soon, i have pulled my tranny to install a new clutch and various other pieces, my question is can the tranny and engine be pulled while they are both bolted together, im thinking yes but like ive said i have never pulled both together on a RX7. Just drain all fluids, disconnect driveshaft, wires, hoses, mounts, remove the hood, bash the knuckles a few times, and swear a little if im not mistaken..LOL later

you can do it. if you want you can even pull the wiring harness from the firewall and you don't have to take apart the engine until its out of the car

Used engines are bad mmmkay....

and yea...pulling the tranny and motor out together I find makes it easier when putting it back in. getting the motor to lineup w/ the tranny while the tranny is still in the car is a bitch...

get a good rebuilt motor...or rebuild it yourself...safest bet.

better product, and less expensive than Guards red. Duponts asks 80 stamps a quart for Guards red
