I use Mobil 1 two cycle. Very low ash content and is desinged to be burnt.

I've used the two stroke stuff from Wallmart (forgot the brand) and it said no ash and you can buy it by the gallon but since people have been saying that premixing oil/gas lowers your octane level, I prefer to use MMO which says it's designed to work in both the oil and the gas tank. Can 4-6oz of two stroke premix actually lower your octane level?

It will lower the ocatane rating of the fuel a little, yes.

Protec R.. I use it , I like it, I am planning on sticking with it.

When I opened my engine after 60k and 20k of it on Proteck R it was pretty clean.

What little bit of build up I did get on the rotors cleaned up very easily.
