I have seen this debated a few times, but I'm looking for some evidence on which method of ProfecB installation is more suitable for the stock twins.. Hook the solenoid to the wastegate only, or hook the solenoid to both the wastegate and precontrol?

well I have tried both. First i tried just the wastegate. It works ok. 2nd, I tried both, wastegate and pre-spool. It behaves the same to me. It looks like the 2nd way is kind of better because it kind of spools quicker.

I did both ways, as I'm trying to figure out why i always loose a pound or 2 by redline

Can u explain to me how your stepper motor is? I want to compare mine to the old type. The new type has 3 port, "no", "nc", "com". From what I have read & ask question from this forum, They say that com goes to the wastegate and the no goes to the turbo, and I question that cause according to Greddy site nc should go to the turbos. How did u guys hook up your unit? khris

I don't know anything about profec spec 2. If it's similar as the old one then probably it might work.
