I have seen it time and again on older engine's. There will be a 1 cm shiny spot on the rotor housing right in the center of it where the oil metering was injected. The rest of the housing is dull gray/silver color.

I will NEVER use oil injection again.

The renesis supposedly uses a stepper motor for the oil injection. I'm guessing that would force the oil to spray in, as opposed to being sucked in? That should be a lot more effective, right?

So can someone list a step by step for removing the OMP? Or do you guys just add premix like 4oz, and still run the OMP as well ?

From what I remember, you need to remove the OMP, the lines and the oil injectors (duh). Then block off the oil injectors with a bolt(it'll be short and stubby). Then you'll need a block off plate. That will go where the OMP was at. However, if memory serves me correct, you will need to remove the front cover and remove the omp gear/arm because it will not allow the block off plate to seal to the front cover.

if you are running the stock ECU.. you have to leave the OMP connected anyway or you'll get error codes that put you into limp mode. In you case, i'd just add oil when you gas up.

who ever asked...the Rotary Aviation adapter is $88, I believe that includes shipping. When you install it the OMP moves out about an inch.

I would like to know how the idemitsu pre-mix works compared to 2-storke synthetic or anything else. What premix does everyone else use?

With the adapter a resivoir is needed as well to hold the clean oil to be injected. I purchased a tank from Car Version 2. It looks like this

A picture of the resivoir can be seen click here it's the one on the right.

To make it fit how I liked I had to modify it. I can post pics once everything is back together.
