Hi, I know this should probably go in the ECU section but I dont think many people look in there so I thought I`d try here.



I just bought a Power FC from E-bay (brand new from Japan) all the instructions are in Japanese and I was trying to find out if I will have to remove the wires? I think I read on here that the newer power FC`s don`t need wires to be removed is this true? I cant find any pictures like the ones posted in the ECU section showing which wires to remove in my instruction book, so does this mean I dont need to do it?



Also my car is a japanese import so was it just US spec cars that needed wires to be removed?

 

If it did not come with the instructions to remove wires then I would not. If you plug it up and still run into problems then at that point I would remove them and try from there. This is my assumption and I could not say for certain. Maybe someone like Jspecracer7 has a better idea and can chime in.
