Pilot bearing

What is the easiest way to get a pilot bearing out i have tryed a slide hammer and gease and the bar thing neither is working anyone got any ideas??

If you don't have the tool, this is a trick I used before. take some WET newspaper and stuff it down the hole until is full. take a center punch(the size of the inner diameter of the hole) and start smashing the wet newspaper with the punch and a hammer. stuff some more wet newspaper and repeat the process. it will take about 4 tries and the wet newspaper pushes the pilot bearing out nice and clean. works awesome.



interesting how something like wet paper gets the job done!
