anyone have any idea why my tach and speedo wouldnt work?



also, the odometer is burnt... ????

are the connections on the back of that thing burnt?? Kinda looks like it in the pics. Something obviously has a short in it. Have you wired in anything new on the car lately? Installed anything? What work has been done to the car lately?

Hit it really hard with a hammer, or kick it. That should determine if you have a short or there is something else going on.

take out the speedo and tach from the cluster and see if anything is wrong with them.

Take each out and test them individually.

It doesn't look burnt to me.



I say check and see if the needles are getting stuck on the gauge itself.
