The back lighting for a gauge cluster have stopped working, i am not sure if its the headlight relay, or if its a short in one of the wires. Any one have and ideas on how to fix this. I am open to the idea of by passing the relay altogether, but i am not sure which wires i would need to bypass.

if you look at your taillights, they might also be out. this happened to me, and it's the switch that went out on mine. crappy mazda electonics, i had to buy a new/rebuilt/whatever it was that worked from my mechanic for $200.
