Over-reving Engine?

I love my rev limiter.

I set it at 8.5k rpm and floor it and just let it bounce and watch the flames.

If I remember right, the stock ECU cuts fuel to the rear rotor when you hit 8000. Mind you, it'll still pull up to 9000, but it'll take it awhile.



Also, I heard that above 8k RPM the eccentric shaft starts to 'wobble' so-to-speak, allowing the apex seals to be depressed further and further as RPMs go up, eventually causing the Rotor to actually hit the housing, instead of just the apex seal. I was wondering if anyone could clear that one up for me.
