Yes, I'm thinking you'll get at least one of three CEL codes (20; 26 or 27) and if your on the stock or aftermarket ECU, any one of them will put you into limp mode.

The OMP is PITA to change with the engine in the car, so if it's not too late, I'd try to find the shaft or block it off properly and get a stand-alone.

yeah ive got around 1000km on the engine im just having problems with it running overly rich, i have been pre mixing since day 1 so no lubrication problems. but i dont get rev cut or anything so it just seems weird that the motor doesnt seem to be in limp mode, do you happen to know what some symptoms would be if it were in limp mode because of the OMP? and i have no idea how to pull codes from the stock ecu, but im saving my pennies for microtech and i have a stainless manifold with a TO4S bolted to it, so its ready to go in once i get the standalone

If you were in limp mode, you'd know it. Apparently the ECU still thinks the OMP is working. I'm surprised, but oh well.

Are you using the stock ECU?
