After conversing with the manufacturer of the oil filter pedestals he forwarded me this statement:

As a continued effort to supply the best products possible we would like to offer an upgrade to an existing product you have purchased. This upgrade involves the permanent attachment of the filter thread and/or the banjo fitting on the replacement oil pedestal you purchased. This is a voluntary upgrade that will be performed free of charge for you our customer. A singular report of failure on the filter thread post was brought to our attention. We are unclear of all the circumstances related to this failure, but this upgrade is how all future pedestals will be manufactured. You may at your discretion and piece of mind remove the part and ship it back to us for update.

If you desire to take part in this free upgrade; package your oil filter pedestal and address the package as the following:

MRC Manufacturing

ATTN: Daniel Eichner

465 Maltbie Street, Suite 215

Lawrenceville, Georgia 30045

So all who desire to take part in this upgrade can be informed an email with the above statement will be sent to each of your email addresses.

Mine is in the mail to you guys!

I solved my problem of getting to that last bolt, I bought a cheapo wrench and cut her in half. It worked perfect.

I've got a set of the flex headed gear wrenches and I absolutely love them.

My first set of wrenches were the craftsman quick wrenches and I hate them. Worst tool purchase I've made...

Like you I bought a set of the Crafstman wrenchs, they were deffinately not worth the money. I guess alot of people felt that way and must have returned them. I went to take mine back and the guy said "we can only give you what there selling for at the moment" I told him no problem until I found that they were 19.99 and weren't on sale. Maybe I can unload them on Ebay ! ! ! Love my gearwrench combo and flex head's
