Oil pedistal failure

Thanks. It's all in the tools you use... It would have been cake before if I'd cut my wrench in half but I didn't have the heart. At least now this gives me the justification to go ahead and order that set while I'm buying the stubby 10mm I need.
Single life was so much easier, now I feel bad buying stuff without some kind of bull **** justification. At least I can always justify car parts some how!
I'm going to pull mine off either today or tomorrow and ship it out.

Yes they are 10mm, its not terribly hard to remove them, although I have done it atleast 6x while its been in the chassis.
Heya,
I'm assuming this is the same one I purchased in from you when they (RE-Speed) first started making these, before the group buy on the rx7forum?
I went out and checked mine and it "looks" like that piece is actually threaded into the base, but I'm not 100% sure. Am I eligible for the 'upgrade'?
Thanks,
Attila

Those bolts are 10mm right??? I'm going to buy a stubby wrench so it's easier. I'd buy a set but the set I like is order only...and I don't want to wait that long.
buy the stubby Gear Wrenches, you will get much more use out of them

I've got a set of the flex headed gear wrenches and I absolutely love them.
My first set of wrenches were the craftsman quick wrenches and I hate them. Worst tool purchase I've made...
