have always used oem on all of my sevens..part number b6y214302 pic'd on the left..

but found a taller one on my last fd acquired..part number gyo14302a pic'd on the right...

assumin an advantage on the taller filter.. ?

they have 4 different filters

the b6y2-14-302 and the g6yo-14-302

these are the tall and short us made filters. since they are internally the same the taller one should be better



the b6y1-14-302 and the jeyo-14-302 are the japanese made equivalents to the other 2. they are a superior design. mazdausa does not supply them so they are hard to find
