i need to know what size adapter i need to run from the 2 stock oil lines to 10 an fittings. I am ordering these adapters from mazda trix and need to know if it is a 16mm /10 or 18mm /10, or something else. here is a picture of the lines i need to tap into (show with arrows). i am not planning on removing the lines shown either.

I would not **** with tapping those. Matter of fact, I don't think you can..

Just get 22 x 1.5 to -10AN adapters for the oil cooler itself, and 18 x 1.5mm to -10AN adapters for the front cover and oil pedestal. Then get 2 -10AN straight fittings, and two -10AN 90degree fittings and some -10AN stainless line.. Make 2 completely new lines. VERY easy - and sturdy.

make sure to get new crush washers if you do it that style, or be prepared for a leak like thee exxon-valdez.
