I know little about tires but I am trying to replace my Bridgestone Potenza RE-040(?)s in the back (R2). Car is stock. I believe the size is P225/50R16. The width is 8 right? I didn't see 225/50R16s available for the RE040 on the bridgestone site, maybe I'm thinking of the wrong tire. Can someone recommend something similar performance-wise that won't break the bank (of course). Can you provide some ballpark prices.
