I have a hole in my upper Radiator Hose and all of my coolant has leaked out into my garage. I ordered the Hose from mazda, and I was wondering if I could have some help on how to replace it, and what I needed to do and check, and how do I "burb" the system when I am done. Will there be anything else i need to do?

thanks for any help.

if you could get a pic it would be easier to help you. to burp the system, just fill up the coolant neck (looking at the engine, it's right behind the passenger headlight), and you just squeeze the big coolant hose near the front of the engine. you should see bubbles coming up from the coolant in the filler neck. just keep adding your coolant/water mixture and squeezing until the level doesn't go down anymore.

hopefully that makes sense.

not much to it....drain the system first...

be careful of the plastic drain plug..if your not careful...youll strip her...

youll need to take out the air box for easy access..its 2 clamps...

one underneath the filler neck and one underneath the air box...plug and play...

squeezing the bottom hose while fillin releases enough air pockets for me..

check a few times thereafter...you might as well run a flush while your at it...

upgraded to silicon hoses for longevity..samco to be precise...

I normally clamp the hose down to the radiator end and fill from the radiator hose...don't ask why
