Can someone please help me... Can't find it in the Haynes manual either.

The heater size hose from the lower radiator goes to what? or where?

I did a motor swap and can't figure out where this hose goes.

I have a heater connected to the hose at the back of the intake manifold and the other side near the oil filter.

THANX

In my Rex that hose goes straight to the bottom of the block. It goes like 1 foot straight to it. Mine is as 88' though.

Thanks guys for checking.

This is the smaller heater size hose?

I know the botton Radiator hose goes there. But there is a 1" or so diameter hose that taps into the bottom of the Radiator right where that bigger hose is. Not sure where it goes. It does carry water.

Mine also is a 1988 (I think)... It's in a Suzuki now.

Out of curiosity, you're not running an automatic tranny are you? Because I've seen where an auto tranny will have lines running to the radiator as well to help cool the tranny fluid. (Note, the tranny fluid does not mix with the coolant.) At some point, my RX-7 got a new radiator, but its for an auto and has the two little ports on it near the bottom.

I checked on my rex and there is a 1" diameter hose that goes from my AC&CV right to the side of my radiator. I looked behind my bumber and it goes behind the radiator and curves back down. I have NO CLUE :dontgetit: where it goes. I can't beleive i can't find where it goes. Maybe this is the same friggin hose ur talkin' about??

Question

Nope it's a 5 speed. I did remove my ACV but there's no water inlets on that, just air. The heater hoses connect at the rear of the motor on both the oil filter side (just beneath it) and the back side of the lower intake manifold). The Haynes manual shows clearly an illistrated shot of the radiator and it says the smaller hose coming from the radiater is a heater hose. It is a heater size hose, but doesn't go to the heater.

I can't beleive I am stumped on this one.

I found your hose and I found where it goes.... and i think I know why you can't find where it goes...on the 7 in runs from the radiator straight back to the firewall, almost in the middle, off to the right a little bit.... but your suzuki prolly doesn't have that (anyone wanna bet me? I'll give them 20 to 1 odds ) I didn't trace it through the firewall, that would prolly be a little difficult and I just got off work so I'm a wee bit tired, I'll get back on tommorow and if you would like me to I can try to trace it and see where all it goes.... but anyways, if you still have the shell of the rx you took the engine out of then you should be able to see where it goes, just plugs right into the firewall...was searching through the manual and found it, then went and looked on my car to confirm (i have an 88 Turbo II)... if you look in the manual on page 107 at the illustration on the bottomright corner it shows where the heater hose hits the firewall.... good luck trying to figure out what to do with the hose....I'm really curious as to know what your rotary rocket powered suzuki is gonna do

Red face

If that really is the heater hose.. I have another one at the rear of the lower intake manifold? Maybe it's air... but it's the same exact size as the heater hose.

It looks like a heater hose and it at the rear of the motor, probably tough to get to on a normal RX7 or even see.

My Rx-7 donner is long gone... So I can't look.

Well I would have been been happy with a R100, but I couldn't find one. I want something that seats 4 is fun to drive and hauls... I prefer NOT to have a V8 powered (Insert any muscle car here) vehicle.
