I'm just trying to learn the how-to so when I get a new motor, I can keep a lotta **** off! Anyone have pics (Thank's dave for the one's you posted) of the solenoid rack before and after and what the hell you did with everything? Just need a visual... Makes it easier!

dude, my pics suck, and they are only of the removal process, and are not very detailed....

 

It's all good. I'm going to take detailed pics of everything I have out... Hopefully with the help of photoshop, you fellas can point out what I need to block off, plug, and/or reconnect.



I'm all the way down to the bare small block. It still has the PS and AC connected. Wiring harness is off (And in great shape!!) All I have to do is put back on the LIM and UIM so I can pull the biotch out. I know I did it *** backwards... But it was for personal reasons. I wanted to familiarise myself....Only engine I ever pulled was an FC... And they are a bit different (as far as all the BS coolant oil and vacuum lines go.
