Yeah....I have thought about that as well just in case. But I don't think a bad PCV valve could cause this much smoke.

Once I get the new twins in and on, if it still smokes, I will take the oil nexk cap off and see if it stops....if it does, then it is the PCV valve right? Then I will get a catch can and do that....but I doubt it.

FYI I am selling my 99's with about 8k on them, no blow by and no shaft play for $900.

Well,

After I pulled the twins, went single, streetported and rebuilt the motor, vented ONE of the filler neck nipples, and found the car to STILL smoke... turns out it was the ******* PCV. I have NO idea how, as the crankcase pressure SHOULD have been going to the catchcan via the one vented line.. Nope. I pulled and capped the PCV, ran the other nipple to the can and BAM. No ****** smoke.

13,000.00 for a PCV valve LMFAO!

So you simply capped the nipple on the UIM where the PCV valve line was, ran both the oil fill neck lines to a catch can, and then PRESTO....no smoke?

Hmm.....I may buy a catch can just to make sure then, no point in scaring myself with more smoke. On my last FD, I just ran those two oil neck lines to open atmosphere....I just ran tubes to the ground, the Earth will catch my oil. At first I capped those nipples on the oil neck and that blew my oil pan gasket...yeah for me. My friend though simply cut the top of his oil neck and put a filter on it, and it solved all his problems, and he simply capped those two nipples.
