Need Help! Passanger Side Trunk Trim.
#12
You have to remove the (bear with me here, it's been awhile)
1) Door sill - pops out
1a) Seats - while not necessary, make things a lot easier, and it's only 5 bolts per seat
1b) Center console (I take it out so I don't crack it leaning on it or something) - shift ****, center console top trim, unclip the switches and lights, four screws under top trim, two screws on the rear of the console unit by the bins
2) Bins - two nuts under the bins, near the driveline tunnel
3) Rear cabin trim (with either the pockets or the rear speakers, pockets stay attached to the panel, not sure about speakers) - a few nuts, some trim clips. If you want them OUT of the car, you'll have to unbolt the seatbelt bottom bolt to pull the belt through the hole
4) strut tower covers
5) strut tower bar
6) rear carpet - get long needle nose pliers under the plugs and pry up
7) nuts and clips that have been exposed that attach the rear panel to the QP interior
8) (I think) Center trim panel in the back of the trunk
9) Rear side trim pieces
At this point, all that should be left in the car is everything from the kick panel forward and the headliner. I would recommend wiping everything down, front and back with a mild soap solution and a rag and/or soft bristled brush. And if you decided to pull the seats, it's a good time to go Lexol on their ***! Also, you'll probably find a bunch of crap under the seats, may as well vacum the crap out of it and possibly hit it with the steam cleaner.
