Hello all, its my first post here so go easy on me.

Im thinking of buying a new car I currently have a 260 BHP MR2 Turbo im pretty much and the end of the line as far as tuning goes for my MR2 and I want more.. I was thinking of getting a RX7 but Ive never evan driven one and I have a few questions:

1 what is the 0-60 time on a rev 3

2 what does the r and s stand for

3 what is the sensible limit for tuning without going into mega money

4 are you guys happy with your cars (silly question) what would you recomend now that you have one

5 how dificult is it to service and RX-7

Thanks

260whp isn't difficult to get on an rx7, the limit being somewhere around 330-360 before you need to upgrade the turbos. Take a year off and learn some things before buying an rx7, you'll save alot of time money and headaches if you do it that way.

If you want more from your MR-2, go here Extreme Boost. Jeffrey is at 650 RWHP right now.

As for an RX-7, standard for a third gen (rev 3?) horsepower was 255 hp, later models available in Japan and Australia rose to 280 hp. Average weight for one is 2800 lbs. Adding horsepower costs money, how much do you want to spend? You can get about 375 hp at the crank while retaining the stock turbos, but this is still a significant investment.

Spend some time reading this and the other forum rx7club.com. Both are huge databases for RX-7 information.

Yeah...... R? S?

Those questions have nothing to do with a car like an Rx-7. Sounds like a RICER to me
