My Car Won't Start
#1
My first post here so please be patient.
I have a 1993 RX7 touring with auto trans. About a month ago the engine was making some strange noises so i checked it out. The noise was caused by some (eight to be exact) cut wires that lead into the turbos. So I reconnected the wires and rerouted them away from the timing ring (which is what i thought cut them.
But then when i try to start her up again she won't move. I take her to my local mechanic but his software told him nothing was wrong. He changed my timing ring (which was very bent) and the two reading sencors (both beat up) but she still doesn't move.
If any of u could help a fellow RX owner out, whether it be advice or a good rotary mechanic (preferably in the northern NJ area), i'd really worship u. No joke.
Color: silver w/black strip
mods/add-ons: downpipe, Mazda rebuilt engine, boost and O2 gauge, GReddy intercooler and more that i don't think really matter interms of starting the car.

i would suggest having it towed to jr's rotary performance, he is in paterson nj. it is VERY close to you. i live in northern NJ too and bring my car(s) to him. his # is 973-904-1613. give him a call. i'm sure he will tell you bring it in and he can fix it for you. he is experienced in stock cars and wildly modified cars like mine LOL
DO NOT tow it to a non rotary specialist................................. you are just asking for trouble!
