Car Won't Start. Help!

Alright, I've been able to smell gasoline for a while whenever i'd shut off my car, but i'm not sure if that's the problem. Anyways, yesterday, it just quit starting. I had it started, moved it back, turned it off, and now it won't run at all. When it starts, it turns over forever, but doesn't start. There's a small clicking noise in it about every 1 and a half turns. Anyways, I thought maybe it wasn't getting any spark, but it's sparking just fine, wires are good, and I put new plugs in it. Same problem. I'm thinking it must be something electrical. Maybe a sensor that isn't allowing any fuel through. I'm not sure. I'm just looking for ideas before I have to take it to the dealership for a diagnostic. Any help will be appreciated.

Sounds like you might have just flooded it...try pulling the fuse out of the EFI spot under your hood and crank the motor a few times, put the fuse back in, and see if it'll start...

Hmmm, would it still be doing it after a day of trying to start it? I haven't had a chance to check that EFI fuse yet. Parents are sleeping and will end up bitching a whoooole lot if i wake them up with my car.

Whenever these cars dont start up, they flood, unless they are out of fuel or the fuel pump isnt working.

Alright, that makes sense, and the spark plugs were grimy as **** when i pulled them out. Not sure about gas, but there was a hell of alot of oil on them.

How to deflood:
Pull the fuse, pull the plugs and crank the engine over for about 15 second with the gas pedal to the floor, wait a little bit and crank it over again... Then clean your pugs using a steel wire brush... Never use a brass wire brush as this will leave a coating of brass on the ceramic around the electrode and it can conduct electricity and make the spark occure where it doesn't do ****.. Now crank the engine over one more time with the gas pedal to the floor and put the plugs back in, put the fuse back and start her up...
