So thats how you got your post count up. A new post for a new sentence,. Maybe I should try that.

She looks good. When you got the 20B going in?

Oh, sorry about the posting like that but I reached the pic size limit for the two of the angle and front so I had to have a new one for the rear. 20B's coming after we get a few things restored to new condition. The paint, there's a dent or two, headlight cover, etc. After that, we're going full 99 spec. Then it'll allow us to fully focus on the performance. Pics and updates later on.

We noticed on the trip back with it the it was smoking close to the downpipe and it smelled exactly like burning oil. (This is under the car.) We got home and got under it and it definitely has an oil leak somewhere thanks to it being all over the undercarriage. I'm thinking it's the oil metering lines but Dad's skeptical and wants to know for sure where to look. Any ideas?

Probably the turbos. How many miles are on them?? It seems like every one I have seen has a tendency to leak oil around them.

original engine? its not the metering lines unless someone had it apart and broke em. its more likely to be the oil pan, rear stationary gear o ring, oil filter base o rings, metering pump o ring, or a motor mount (yes they leak too)

You have an Rx-8, a 3rd gen Rx-7 with plans for a 20b, you were going to throw hundreds of dollars into flashy guages (with no idea of how well they work) and you're 18. Where are you getting all this money? If it's from your parents, they have even less sense than you.
