Apparently there's a company that makes motor mounts which allow someone to swap a Cosmo 13B RE into an FD but I cannot find the site. I have a friend who's interested. Any help greatly appreciated.

Im not sure MIchel but you should send Jason at JT IMports an email or pm. Him or maybe even Jspecracer7 or Dragon. One of those guys should be able to point you in the right direction. Also you might want to post this in the Japanese forum.

Yes that's exactly what I'm doing....motor (fingers crossed) is going together tonight. I'll believe it when I see it. Anyway, no, I did have a friend looking at a Cosmo motor due to the port sizes but he missed out on it. My mounts have not arrived yet and I'm REALLY starting to believe they don't exist. I never would have purchased this engine had I known, but I was going on the shop's advice and insistence that the motor would bolt right in. When we discovered it wouldn't, he knew of a shop that made mounts specific to this application. It's been about three weeks and nothing to show for it. I've poured a tremendous amount of time and energy into building this thing (did all the porting/polishing myself) and if I find out there's no way to reliably put this thing in my car, heads are going to roll. Best case scenario, we have to swap out the rear plate for an FD plate. Let's hope there's enough material to make the ports as large as my Cosmo front. This is just making me sick....

I would contact Jason or anyone else in Japan but it'll take weeks to get them here if they exist. I guess it's worth a try however. Thanks for the head's up FD.

In a worst case scenario couldn't they be custom made?
