Ok....so I'm finally trying to get the car registered, since I'm running wrong state, expired in Oct tabs, and go try to get the emissions test done. Ended up putting out 151ppm HC, limit to pass is 150. My first thought is to just lean out at the cruise rpm's that I failed (2600 to 3000 rpm's, 2nd gear), but was wondering if there might be and easier way.



I remember back on my 79, when trying to get it to pass emissions, i'd lean it out to barely idling, then tweak with the timing, but for the life of me, i don't remember if I advanced or retarded it.



Any hints on passing would be good. Mods are listed in my sig.
