Unhappy

wanted some input on if anyone has this h2o pump or know someone who uses it? any real hp gains? adaptor block for kit is $90 plus the h2o pump which is electric for street $250 and for race app is $265. if any one has any info or would like to check this out and info me go to www.meziere.com

i add some of what the site said below:

It seems we are constantly finding new applications in which our pumps work well. One such situation is the Mazda Rotary. This kit allows you to use our standard remote pump in conjunction with a custom made water port block. You can easily plumb your cooling system with a pump that will cool your engine well at high or low speed. It is perfect for all types of Rotary powered recreational vehicles. Remote pump and fittings ordered separately.

To complete your kit you will need:

1 Mazda Rotary Plate - Meziere

1 Remote Pump - Meziere

1 Line from lower radiator to center port on remote pump

1 Inlet fitting for center port on remote pump - Meziere

2 Outlet fittings for exit ports on remote pump

2 Lines from pump to rotary plate (#12 AN recommended)

2 Fittings into rotary plate

1 Fitting for exit port on rotary plate - Meziere

1 Line from rotary plate to upper radiator port (#16 AN recommended)

Things to consider:

Eliminating the stock water pump housing may require relocation of alternator.

Radiator must have pressure cap provision.

You have to find your own way to re-mount the alternator. It's not a casual drop in setup for the rotary like it would be for a lot of their other applications.

Many better other ways to gain hp. Usually E water pumps are drag only. If you are keeping a/c then you can't be after this mod for a more simplistic engine bay either.
