I like the C's.. Oh, and I learned something interesting about the rattling everyone talks about with the short shifters - apparently, it's from resting your hand on the shifter whilst you drive. So don't do that.

I have the Mazdaspeed. Its nice I am used to it though so i don't rember what stock was like.

I also hacked an extra 1 & 1/2" off the top of mine to shorten it even more. I got mine used. I wouldn't pay the price for a new one.

-D.

I also have the C's shifter. Changing the **** also makes it feel better.

As for the leaving your hand on it whilst driving, you are putting pressure on the selector fork, which on time bends and snaps.

So not a good idea.

I'll have to go with Vosko there. The B&M shift kit is quite good.

Resting you hand on the shifter is a bad habit according to road racers. (you need both hands on the wheel)

I agree but getting gears in quicker is better.
