any experience with this product? is it excessivly notchy?
thanks |
the tranny is notchy not the shifter
i like the B&M the best. it is the nicest unit i have used out of all of them |
I like the C's.. Oh, and I learned something interesting about the rattling everyone talks about with the short shifters - apparently, it's from resting your hand on the shifter whilst you drive. So don't do that.

I have the Mazdaspeed. Its nice I am used to it though so i don't rember what stock was like.
I also hacked an extra 1 & 1/2" off the top of mine to shorten it even more. I got mine used. I wouldn't pay the price for a new one. -D. |

As for the leaving your hand on it whilst driving, you are putting pressure on the selector fork, which on time bends and snaps. So not a good idea. Dan |
I'll have to go with Vosko there. The B&M shift kit is quite good.

Resting you hand on the shifter is a bad habit according to road racers. (you need both hands on the wheel)
