I just recently did some work to the engine of my fd and now that i have it running i get a loud buzzing sound everytime my BOF goes off. ANY HELP

 

what kind of work did you do??? where in the rpm range does it happen? describe it more.....

 

i did some vaccum hose replacement. It souns like a reall loud buzzing sound that last only a brief second when the blow off valve releases pressure. It like a someone is taking a racketball and rubbing it on a marble table type of sound. it only happens for a brief seconf so i really can't pin point it.

 

could it be the BOV itself? are you using the factory one??

 

The spring could be weak and has trouble closing fully again. Therefore it bumps up and down until it can close.

 

You should prob. take it off and clean it up. I dont know much about doing this with the stockers, but like mentioned above the spring wears out pretty easily.

 

could it be the airpump?
