Leaky brand spanking new injector... That was $600+ down the drain...

We also learned a valuable leason on unflooding a car. It's best to disconnect the power to the plug wires. Sean (DeaconFrost) is missing some hair to say the least! Sorry Sean. We had a **** load of gas in the engine too. It has not been a good day. Now we've got the 850's back in but still can't get the car going... It ran for about a minute after we unflooded the car and then stalled. It flooded again when we attempted to restart it.

I kew that was the problem. Sorry to hear of your misfortune, but why $600 down the drain? you can't exchange for a new one?????

Oh and yes having the ignition powered up while unflooding is not a good thing. sounds like I missed the BBQ

ya, it was pretty scary...but its all good...if it were not an rx7 I would have found to biggest hammer and beat the **** out of the car.

more on topic ...survey says...the bottom o-rings were ripped during installation, Im giving him my new set that I didnt use, so that should rectify the problem. hopefully...

btw, Brian @ bnr left you a message saying that your session is at 10 o'clock...and that there is a BBQ saturday evening...so you really need to get off from work and go with me saturday. heh.

I'm taking off tomorrow. I'm going to put the new rings on and unflood the car again. Hopefully that will do it... Mabe we can head down then tomorrow night. You got directions off map quest yet?
