Might be a good archive... I dunno..

I know you guys have got the motor in and then reallized "CRAP!!" I forgot.....

Please make a list of things to doublecheck before installing the motor.

The engine is a streetported rebuild with new everything from fuel to clutch. I know lots of this is easier to get to while the motor is OUT, so not having to crawl around trying to get to that one bolt that was forgotton would be GREAT!!

Any experience with this? Any method of going around the block to do checks? Any hints on making this a smooth install? What should be left out of the engine bay for ease of operation? Thanks!

make sure that the oil cooler lines are in and the retaning clips are actually in their grooves. otherwise just work through whole systems. like check the fuel system, then look at the coolant lines, oil etc... one thing at a time

good luck get a vid of the start up

Just double check all bolts before you install the motor. Put sealant on motor mount bolt holes to prevent leaks. Make sure clutch fork is engaged into Pressure plate correctly.

Prime fuel system and your done
